Nadekakugata with irregularly shaped thin lip, the guard is decorated with a background of massed kinzogan resembling nashiji and applied in silver, gold, shibuichi, shakudo, sentoku and copper with a figure of Minamoto no Yorimasa playing a flute under a full silver moon while the assassin Hakamadare Yasusuke lurks beside him; the omote is decorated with similar kinzogan with shakudo openings carved shishiaibori with susumi grasses, signed Otsuryuken Miboku-O [old man] and kao, height 10.6cm.
