1914 STUTZ SEVEN PASSENGER TOURING CAR
Chassis No. not known
Red.
Engine: four cylinder, in-line, T-head, cast in pairs, 390ci, 50bhp; Gearbox: three speed manual; Brakes: mechanical, internal expanding; Suspension: semi-elliptic springs. Right hand drive.
This touring car shares many of the four cylinder Bearcat's mechanical components such as the engine and transaxle. The body is in very good original condition and the interior is fitted with original canvas covers over the leather seats.
Top is original and good for patterns and the original set of side curtains is intact. The car carries its full set of correct original lighting equipment but the paint is not original; rather it is an older amateur repaint which has helped to preserve this motorcar in its present good state.
This is a very complete, unmodified early Stutz which should prove to be a relatively simple restoration. It is eligible for brass and gas tours and other touring and show activities of the major national antique auto clubs.
