Comprising a cylindrical brushpot well carved in low relief with figures in a courtyard setting and inscribed on the reverse with a fourteen-character inscription and a signature heightened in black; a small cylindrical brush-holder carved with figures in a landscape against a pierced diaper ground; a domed quill holder carved around the sides with dragons pursuing flaming pearls amidst clouds against a wave ground; a small bell carved with figures in a landscape below a crouching animal knop; a small box and cover, the arched strap-like handle carved and pierced with dragon scroll forming a wan emblem flanked by bats, the sides carved with archaistic scroll; and a figure of a monkey wearing European apparel holding a peach while seated on a rockwork seat raised on an octagonal plinth, cracks
