Of oval section decorated in togidashi and takamaki-e on a brown lacquer ground with a continuous landscape of distant hills, a river, a small thatched cottage and a single goose flying above, interior cases in brown lacquer; fitted with a gilt metal pierced ojime and an ivory netsuke carved as three sages--2 7/8in. (7.5cm.) high
