The case with raised gilt chinoiserie decoration to the rectangular trunk door with concave shaped top beneath the signature Jno:Prichard London. flanked by carved ears decorated with gilt foliage, the 22 in. diameter dial with gilt decorated moulded bezel, Roman and Arabic chapters painted in a cream ground, black-painted steel hands of pierced spade form, the minute hand with counter balance, the movement with four pillars and A-form plates, anchor escapement with long pendulum and original rhomboid lead weight
