The silvered dial signed and numbered John Fletcher, Maker to the Admiralty, 148, Leadenhall St. London 2595, Roman hour numerals, outer minute chapter with Arabic five minute intermarkers 60-5-10 et seque, gold hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds dial with blued steel hand and up-and-down dial with gold hand, full-plate movement with multi-toothed great wheel to fusee, Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with circular heat compensation weights, blued steel helical balance spring with six-and-a-half turns, spring detent (replacement) with steel locking pallet, brass bowl (numbered 2595), gimballed in plain three-tier mahogany box, the middle section with inset bone plaque inscribed John Fletcher 148 Leadenhall St. London 2595, flush recessed brass handles
