A VERY FINE GREEN 'DRAGON' SAUCER-DISH
ENCIRCLED KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

The interior decorated in brilliant green enamel and detailed in black with a five-clawed dragon leaping amidst flames and clouds in pursuit of a flaming pearl, the exterior with two dragons in mutual pursuit of flaming pearls amongst clouds and fire scrolls, reserved on a lightly- incised ground of waves, all within single line borders

The present example is slightly larger than average, which are between 17 cm. and 19 cm. in diameter.
