Each similarly decorated to the centre with an impressed flower-head picked out in blue, green, cream and amber enamels, all reserved on a bright emerald-green ground continuing to reverse and stopping at the flat base (minor glaze flakes)

Lot Essay

A dish of the same size was included in the Indianapolis Museum of Art exhibition, 'Arts of the T'ang Dynasty', 1973, Catalogue, no. 51; another sold in New York, 27 November 1990, lot 108.
