A VERY RARE TURQUOISE-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE BOTTLE VASE
IRON-RED QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

Finely enamelled around the body and the tall neck with four large lotus blooms borne on a continuous meander of curling tendril issuing ripe melons, with butterflies in flight, all reserved on a turquoise ground, the slightly spreading foot encircled by a band of detached lotus sprays above a classic scroll in gilt on iron-red ground, the trumpet neck with a pink floral band, the rims gilt (neck restored)
