I rate Yquem '75 and '76 virtually equal, the latter tasted on two different occasions in April 1995: golden colour; honey and apricots; sweet, rich, fragrant, lovely - nearly spoiled by the crème brulée dessert at the 129th meeting of the Saintsbury Club at Vintner's Hall. Drink this by itself or with a ripe nectarine or with cheese. MB
