Standing on an oval plinth with his hands joined in anjali mudra and cradling an ax, wearing a short dhoti finely incised with bands of dentil ornaments and tied with a sash at the waist, with an elaborate multi-stranded necklace and pendent rosettes extending down his shoulders, his face in a benevolent expression with pronounced aquiline nose, his hair arranged in an elaborate cylindrical topknot centered by a flaming jewel, the base later added
