Sino-Tibetan, 19th/20th Century
Seated in dhyanasana on a separately cast double lotus base, with his hands in the gesture of teaching, his sanghati loosely draped over his left shoulder falling in crisp folds and decorated all over with incised shou emblems, his face with cold gilding and finely delineated features, with calm expression and spiral urna, his hair arranged in tight pointed curls with domed ushnisha surmounted by a ball-shaped cintamani
