Belgian Contract, the No.1 action with interlocking hammer and rolling-block, the action-body gold-encrusted and engraved with three Turkish trophies-of-arms, with gold-inlaid borderwork, the maker's name and address similarly gold-inlaid on the barrel rib, the top-strap marked 'PATENT', boldly-figured stock with gold-inlaid butt-plate (with trap), bolted forend, the browned twist barrel with solid top-rib, gold-inlaid bands at the breech and muzzle and stamped with Liège proof marks, the rolling-block similarly marked
