AN ATTIC BLACK-FIGURE LEKYTHOS

Decorated with Herakles wrestling the Cretan bull, the bull sunk down on its forelegs, flanked by trees on either side, interlocking lotus buds around the shoulder, repaired, 9½ in. (24.1 cm.) high; and a black-figure skyphos, each side with two running maenads and a donkey flanking a nude reclining man, repaired, possibly late 6th/early 5th Century B.C., 5.5/8 in.
