Carved with ribbon-tied foliate borders, paterae and bellflowers, the frieze centred with a classical urn flanked to either side by a drawer, on square tapering legs terminating in spade feet, with a metallic label Waring & Gillow Ltd, Guaranteed Manufactered at their Liverpool Factory, by Appointment to the King, and stamped Waring and Gillow, L.pool 5270
