A Fukugawa charger
painted in coloured enamels and gilt with numerous cranes in flight around a central basket of peonies, all on an iron-red ground within stylised floral lappets to the rim -- 18in. (45.7cm.) diam, Mt.Fuji mark to base; an Imari charger with a central stylised flowerhead within a border of alternating panels of karako amongst flowers and grazing horses in tree strewn river landscapes -- 8½in. (47cm.) diam; and a further charger with ho-o in flight amongst maple alternating with stylised lotus flowers, all around the Three Friends -- 18in. (45.7cm.) diam, all 19th Century.
