A Victorian ebonised quarter-chiming bracket clock, mid 19th century
The case with brass handle to inverted bell top, with cut brass frets below, the breakarch trunk door with brass strips to the chamfered angles, breakarch sound frets to the sides, on moulded base with brass block feet, the gilt-brass dial with silvered chapter ring signed Graham London, matted centre, with chime/not chime ring to the arch, the triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, hour strike on bell to backplate and quarter chimes on a nest of eight bells above, with repeat signature to the backplate with pendulum holdfast (pendulum not drilled for securing screw)
