WEST ANATOLIA, 18TH CENTURY
The ivory field with pendant flower and two lozenge columns below the stepped and serrated shaded tan mihrab arch containing inverted floral panels, a floral cross-panel above and similar angular cross-panel below, in a dark brown border of rosettes alternating with palmettes together with saz leaves, carnations and hyacinths between medium blue and shaded tan floral meander and minor S-motif stripes, a kilim strip at each end, slight wear, very slight restoration, replaced selvages, later added fringes
