The brick-red field scattered with a few flowerheads and palmettes, the stepped triangular spandrels containing similar motifs and serrated leaves, in a red border of alternating ivory and sand-yellow cartouches containing turtle-palmettes between ivory floral octagon stripes, a kilim strip at each end, light scattered repiling, restored guard stripe on most of one side, other very slight restorations, even wear
