LATIN MANUSCRIPT ON VELLUM. 6 leaves (last one blank), written in brown and gold in a roman script on 26 lines per page, with a large armorial frontispiece with coronet in colors heightened with gold, titlepage with similar decoration, also heightened with gold, text pages following each framed with a double-border gilt, countersigned in brown ink at end by Cardinal Bishop Giovanni Francesco Barbadico and another. 4to, 240 x 169 mm. (9 x 6 in.), contemporary Italian calf gilt, roll-tool borders, central ornament of fan design, infilled with other floral tools, remains of blue silk tie, minor wear to edges [with:] red wax seal with the arms of Cardinal Barbadico in matching calf gilt case.
