The firm of Edwards and Roberts was established at 21 Wardour Street, London, in the 1840s, as 'Antique and modern cabinet makers and importers of ancient furniture'. They made many examples of furniture in the Louis XIV, XV and XVI styles, as well as English pieces copying styles from the 18th century. The firm ceased trading in 1899.
