Ichinomiya Nagatsune is considered one of the three great metalworkers of Kyoto kinko. He first studied paintings with Ishida Yutei (1756-1815). During the Kyoho era (1716-36) he appeared on the Kyoto kinko scene and revitalized the tradition of the Goto mainline.
