In the Renaissance style, on a spreading circular base cast with a band of fantastic sea creatures, with three supports formed as sea monsters, the second tier with three sea-horses, the knop with caryatids and masks at intervals surounted by three openwork caryatid supports, the egg-cup engraved on three sides with an urn issuing foliage and monsters, the dentilated silver-mounts headed by eagles, the everted rim flat-chased with strapwork and foliage, the domed cover with similar mounts and decoration, engraved under base Everett Calvin Brownlee, marked on base SILBER
