probably Moscow, 1908-1917
Circular, the slightly spreading foot with bud and foliate scrolls on green and red ground, the body with a mediaeval lute-player, a stylized bird and the interlaced initials AO, with varicolor floral and foliate scrolls at intervals on pale blue ground, the scroll handle partly enamelled with foliate scrolls, apparently unmarked
