circa 1860/1880, marked with the French post-1864 import mark for 18 ct. gold and the Austrian post-1939 mark for imported works of 14 ct. gold
Amphora-shaped amethyst flask, the upper half fitted for perfume, with gold stopper under the hinged tapering stone cap, applied with two-colour gold ribbon festoons and foliate gold mounts, the hinged lower half opening to reveal the vinaigrette part with independent gold grille pierced with a diaperwork and centred by engraved flowers, the base applied with acanthus leaves in two-colour gold
