Shuttle-shaped black box, the cover, sides and base inlaid with three-colour gold and silver flowersprays, the sides furthermore encrusted with butterflies, the gold mounts engraved with stylized acanthus leaves on a reeded band, slightly bombé and burnished thumbpiece with wavy reeded border
