Slightly tapering two-colour gold étui-à-cire of rectangular section with canted corners, the slightly domed cover topped by a chased rosette, with plain matrix, the four sides of both cover and base with engine-turned panels of vertical reeding diagonally twisted with spiralling strings of pellets, bordered by sablé bands chased with husks, scrolls and pellets
