Slightly tapering gold étui-à-cire of rectangular section with canted corners, the domed plain cover topped by a lozenge-shaped rosette, the matrix engraved with enlaced initials "HD", the cover and base with engine-turned panels of vertical reeding scattered with pellets and flowerheads, centered with rectangular reserves with cut corners chased with fruit, foliage, a musical instrument and a basket, bordered by sablé bands chased with husks
