A PAIR OF GEORGE III SIMULATED-SATINWOOD AND GREEN-DECORATED OPEN ARMCHAIRS
En suite with the preceding lot, decorated overall with boxwood and ebonised lines, each with a shield-shaped back and seat covered in light-green floral silk damask, the outcurved arms on downswept supports decorated with foliage, the bowfronted seat-rail centred by an oval foliage patera issuing foliage, on square tapering legs decorated with conforming foliage, one inscribed in pencil to the underside 'Kitley and stamped 'VI', originally caned, one seat-rail replaced and one partially replaced, restorations and refreshments to the decoration, two front legs replaced and two spliced (2)
