EISHI (1756-1829): oban tate-e (38.1 x 25.5cm.); the left sheet of a triptych, with the courtesan Hanamurasaki of the Kadotamaya surrounded by a shinzo and two kamuro beside a flowering plum tree, signed Eishi ga and published by Nishimuraya Yohachi--fine impression and good colour, with slight fading
