The ground decorated with leaves in takamakie and a red lacquer berry, the cover with a lobster boldly carved in tsuishu with eyes inlaid in dark horn

The first Iizuka Toyo worked in the latter half of the 18th century and had many descendants and pupils. This kogo is a late example of the work of the school.
