Signed Vacheron & Constantin, case no. 278153, movement no. 431411, 1940s
The nickel plated movement jewelled to the centre with monometallic balance, the matt silvered dial with raised pink gold Arabic quarter hour marks and baton five minute indexes, subsidiary dials for running seconds and 30 minute recorder, outer tachymetric scale with sweep centre seconds operated by two square buttons in the band, pink gold hands, in circular case with chamfered bezel and unusual chamfered lugs, snap on back, with spare gold buckle, maker's certificate and original presentation box, case, dial and movement signed
