A George II ebonised striking bracket

The case with brass handle to inverted bell top, later pierced wood sound frets to the sides and front door, the base on block feet, the dial signed Dan Delander London on a silvered oval disc in the matted centre with calendar and mock pendulum apertures, silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with later blued steel hands, Indian mask-and-foliate spandrels, strike/silent ring in the arch, the five pillar twin fusee movement with knife-edge verge escapement and strike on bell with pull quarter repeat on six bells, foliate engraved backplate with movement securing brackets to the case
