Fourth quarter 18th century
The white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with later hands within a foliate carved gilt-wood ribbon-tied frame with front-swinging pendulum to the anchor escapement, the rack secured to a gilt jesso mounted wood frame with gadroon urn to the pediment fixed to an ebonised backboard and housed within a rectangular case with sliding glazed door, the top surmounted by a painted carved wood figure in period dress
