The rectangular glazed case with moulded frame and white marble slab backboard, the circular white enamel Arabic dial signed Bardon Clichy with pierced blued moon hands and sweep centre seconds, the movement of typical form with 'scape wheel to the side of the backplate impulsed by the detent to the top of the steel pendulum rod with horseshoe magnet passing over a flat coil
