THREE HOPI POLYCHROME VESSELS
The first a jar with small flat base flaring sides, rounded shoulder tapering into the neck with a slightly flaring rim, painted in black and red over a light brown slip, with curving wing motifs alternating with a serrated feather pattern, the second a jar with small flat base and rounded shoulder, painted in black and red on a creamy white slip, decorated with similar motifs to the first jar, both signed by Frogwoman on the bases, the third a seed jar of compressed globular form, painted in two shades of brown, with a curving wing design, a painted symbol of a frog on the base and the initial P.N.
