This pot is accompanied by a letter from Dolores Lewis Garcia and Emma Lewis Mitchell and dated May 7, 1993. The letter reads: "I Dolores Lewis Garcia and Emma Lewis Mitchell have acknowledged that this polychrome pottery was by our mother Lucy M. Lewis.
