A detailed 1:48 scale planked and rigged model of the twelve gun brig Pilot of circa 1840
built by D. Berrill with masts, yards, standing and running rigging, anchors, catheads, hair rails, belaying rails and pins, companionways, ship's boat with thwarts in chocks, deck rings, gratings, capstan, helm and tiller and guns in carriages. The hull, with glazed quarter cabin windows, is finished in white, off-white and black with venetian red bulwarks. Stand and display base -- 26 x 34in. (66 x 86.4cm.) Carrying box
