A well detailed ¼in.:1ft. scale waterline model of the river tug Rana originally built 1951 for Gaselee & Sons Ltd.
and modelled by M. R. Barnett with lowering signal mast, anchor, davit and winch, samson posts, superstructure with open bridge with awning over, with helm, telegraphs, binnacle, stove pipes, hand rails, companionways, lowering funnel, ventilators, engine room lights, deck lights, two hooks and horses, rope coils and other details. The hull, finished in black and brown with yellow and red funnel, is mounted on a painted moulded riverscape, tied to a buoy, wood base with draw and glazed cover. Measurements overall -- 11 x 26in. (28 x 66cm.)
