A Charles I unascribed provincial seal-top spoon,
of heavy gauge with a large fluted terminal pricked "I.H 1630 F.C" with traces of gilding, the thick stem tapering wide towards the bowl, stamped once only with a quatrefoil flowerhead mark, possibly Wessex/West Country circa 1630 - 18cm long, 2oz.
