A late Charles II unascribed provincial decorated trefid spoon
with a ribbed rat-tail, a plain bowl and a lobed a stamped terminal, stamped in low relief with foliage, scrolls, an oval cartouche, pricked "M.S.P 84" and stamped on the back of the stem with a crude anchor mark (twice) and a floral motif, probably Wessex/West Country area circa 1684 - 19.5cm long, 1oz.
