An unascribed provincial Apostle spoon; St. Thomas,
of good gauge with hatched nimbus (worn) and gilding on a straight sided stem with an elongated, fig-shaped bowl curved, later pricked on the reverse "W.W M.S 1631" and later gilded, stamped in the bowl with an indecipherable mark and thrice on the back of the stem with a single 'turret' mark, unascribed, probably late 15th/early 16th century - 18cm long, 2oz.
