A shibayama style silver lobed hexafoil baluster vase
and domed cover with eagle on rockwork finial above three elephant mask and ring handles, decorated with applied flowers and scrolling foliage in silver wire and coloured enamels, shaped gold lacquer panels applied in mother-of-pearl, wood and ivory with birds amongst blossoming branches, flowers and foliage, on shaped tripod base -- 8¾in. (22.2cm) high, 19th Century, rectangular signature reserve to underside, (losses and damage).
