The architectural case with large foliate cast handle to the top with lion head hinges, large bevelled glass viewing aperture, push repeat button, ball finials to the four angles supported on foliate engraved three-quarter columns, front and rear doors, the base on milled bun feet, the white enamel Roman dial signed Lamy & Lacroix A Morez, blued moon hands, subsidiary dials below for date and alarm, the large twin barrel movement with silvered lever platform, the bimetallic balance with foliate engraved silvered cock, polished steel rack-work on the backplate with three-position selection sector engraved P, G & S with blued steel selection hand, strike on two bells in the base, the alarm spring mounted at the bottom of the backplate flanked by alarm and calendar hand-set squares, the backplate engraved Horologerie Garantie
