The cariatides case with pediment top, with laurel wreath mount to the lunette and dentil galleries, each angle applied with a caryatid mount, the white enamel Roman dial with blued moon hands and alarm ring below, the top with arched and bevelled viewing glass and block repeat button, the twin barrel movement with gilt platform to the cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat/alarm on two gongs to the backplate stamped SOLDANO and numbered 1001, with three-position selection lever to the base
