The pillars case with part-fluted columns with composite capitals, with foliate cast finials to the angles and dentil cornices, on stepped and moulded base with toupie feet, with plain silvered mask to gilt recessed Arabic dial, signed in the centre A.H. RODANET 26, Rue Vivienne PARIS, the twin barrel movement with high quality silvered platform to cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, with grande sonnerie Westminster quarter chimes on four gongs via four hammers and hour strike/repeat/alarm on further gong, the backplate with repeat signature and numbered 4844, with three-position selection lever to the base; with original brown leather travel case on brass feet and un-numbered key
