The anglaise case mounted with painted porcelain panels to the sides and rear door, those to the side depicting a man in Ottoman costume and a woman respectively, the rear panel showing a mosque, each framed by foliage and against a silvered ground, the silvered dail painted with palms and with Roman chapter ring, gilt hands, with alarm ring below, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat/alarm on gong to the backplate numbered 1322
