The first with bright blade, the gilt-copper scabbard and waisted swelling hilt each profusely decorated with polychrome enamel flowers and rococo ornament against a grey enamel ground; the second with finely watered single-edged blade damascened on both sides at the forte with panels of gold foliage and with a small panel of Arabic script along the back-edge, and rounded beaked iron hilt decorated with shaped gold-damascened panels and foliage, in original leather-covered wooden scabbard with tinned metal mounts
