The first signed Leah, the second signed Ludlam, each late 18th Century
Each with sighted barrel struck with the barrel maker's mark 'WS', signed lock (one associated, the other incomplete), full stock (one replaced, both wormed and damaged, each saddle-bar removed), regulation brass mounts, brass escutcheon engraved with a crest, and one later wooden ramrod (damaged, the other missing), London proof marks
31in. (78.7cm.) barrels
The crest is that of the Savile family, co. York (2)
