An Unusual 25-Bore German Wheel-Lock Sporting Rifle (Mller-Bchse)

With swamped octagonal sighted barrel cut with eight grooves and with a band of beadwork at the rear of the breech, plain rounded lock with chiselled details (pan shield replaced), and retained by three screws each with engraved flower-shaped horn washer, full stock carved in relief with interlaced foliated scrollwork and monster-heads on a dotted ground, iron mounts, set trigger, iron baluster ramrod-pipes, engraved staghorn fore-end cap, and original ramrod with engraved staghorn cap and iron powder-measure
